Product Overview
LT1963EFE-3.3#PBF is a LT ®1963 series, low dropout regulator optimized for a fast transient response. This device is capable of supplying 1.5A of output current with a dropout voltage of 340mV. The operating quiescent current is 1mA, dropping to <1µA in shutdown. Quiescent current is well controlled; it does not rise in dropout as it does with many other regulators. In addition to fast transient response, the LT1963 regulator has very low output noise which makes it ideal for sensitive RF supply applications. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery protection, current limiting, thermal limiting and reverse current protection. Applications include 3.3V to 2.5V logic power supplies, post regulator for switching supplies.

- Ripple rejection is 63dB typical at (VIN – VOUT = 1.5V (avg), VRIPPLE = 0.5VP-P)
- Current limit is 2A typical at (VIN = 7V, VOUT = 0V, TA = 25°C)
- GND pin current is 1mA typical at (ILOAD = 0mA)
- 3.3V regulated output voltage at (VIN = 3.8V, ILOAD = 1mA, TA = 25°C)
- Operating junction temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, 16-lead plastic TSSOP package
