Product Overview

The CM46 from Flir Systems is a CM4X series professional 400A AC/DC digital true RMS clamp meter with Accu-Tip and type K. It is an affordable true RMS meter designed for commercial and residential electricians. The CM46 offers both AC/DC clamp measurement. The meter is equipped with a bright backlit display for ease of use inside electrical panels. Accu-Tip technology delivers amperage measurements on smaller gauged wires more accurately to a tenth of a digit. The model offers MAX/MIN/AVG recording, diode measurement, frequency measurement and electrical field detection help to determine voltage presence and relative strength of the field. Made with an tough, overmoulded, easy to grip design, the CM42 clamp meter is durable enough to withstand a two meter drop and the slim form factor is convenient to carry in toolbag anywhere you go. Electrical field detection (NCV) determines if voltage is present and the relative strength of the field for safety.
  • Precise, accurate measurements and high accuracy, resolution in small panels
  • Data hold, zero function and low pass filter (VFD) for voltage measurement, 2x AAA battery type
  • Built rugged to last for years to come, slim & portable size, 10 ohm< & < 250 ohm continuity
  • Operates at -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F), 3-5/6 digits 6000 counts display, 400A clamp-on DC current
  • Professional performance at an affordable price, built to accept up to a 30mm maximum conductor
  • UL, CE certifications, CAT IV 300V/CAT III 600V category, 60A Accu-Tip clamp-on DC current
  • 600V DC voltage (±1.0% accuracy), 600V AC voltage (digital low pass filter/VFD) (±1.0% accuracy)
  • 400A clamp-on AC current (50Hz to 100Hz) (100 to 400Hz), 2500µF capacitance, 2000µA DCµA
  • 60A Accu-Tip clamp-on AC current, 50 to 400Hz frequency, 60Kohm resistance, 2V diode test
