InnoSwitch™3-EP off-line CV/CC QR flyback switcher IC with Integrated primary switch, synchronous rectification and FluxLink feedback family of ICs dramatically simplifies design and manufacture of flyback power converters, particularly those requiring high efficiency and/or compact size. This family combines primary/secondary controllers and safety-rated feedback into a single IC. InnoSwitch3-EP family devices incorporate multiple protection features including line over and undervoltage protection, output overvoltage and overcurrent limiting and overtemperature shutdown. Incorporates multi-mode quasi-resonant/CCM flyback controller, high-voltage switch, secondary-side sensing and synchronous rectification driver. Devices are available with standard and peak power delivery options and used auto-restart protection behaviours. Used in auxiliary, standby and bias power supplies for appliances, computers, consumer products, utility meter, smart grid and industrial power supplies.
- Output power of 100W at 230VAC ±15% and 85W at 85-265VAC (peak or open frame)
- Adjustable accurate output current sense using external output sense resistor
- EcoSmart™ energy efficient, highly Integrated and compact footprint, 750V PowiGaN Switch
- PowiGaN™ technology (up to 10W without heatsinks), very high efficiency across full load range
- Integrated FluxLink™, HIPOT-isolated, feedback link
- Open SR FET-gate detection, fast input line UV/OV protection
- UL1577 and TUV (EN60950 and EN62368) safety approved
- Reinforced isolation, isolation voltage >4000VAC, 100% production HIPOT testing
- Exceptional CV/CC accuracy, independent of external components
- Less than 30mW no-load including line sense, low heat dissipation
