Product Overview
The 3285-6001 from SV Microwave - Amphenol is a SMPM (FD) male edge launch connector. The SMPM connector was developed to improve on the application density and operating frequency range of the SMP connector. The SMPM connector is widely used in high density, high performance applications today. Typical applications include aerospace, military, broadband, instrumentation, routers, telecommunications, high-speed applications (10 to 40Gbits) and cable assembly.
- Blindmate / push on design (RFfortless®)
- Frequency range from DC to 40GHz, insulation resistance is 5000Mohm
- Designed to accommodate both radial and axial misalignment
- Impedance is 50 ohm, shielding effectiveness is ≥ -80dB, dielectric withstanding voltage is 325VRMS
- Stainless steel body
- Beryllium copper with gold finish contact
- PTFE insulator
- Mechanical mating cycles is 500 (smooth bore)
- Temperature range from -65°C to +165°C
