Product Overview
DAC8229 is a dual 8bit voltage output multiplying CMOS D/A converter. Its reference accepts ±2.5V signal inverts and deliver it to the output with an internal amplifier. It can also accepts -10V at VREF with a corresponding 10V output (the maximum positive input signal that it can accept is ±2.5V). It is designed to operate with dual supplies, however it can be operated with a single supply by connecting VSS, AGND A and AGND B to ground. An internal regulator provides TTL compatibility and fast microprocessor interface timing over the full VDD range. Also each DAC input latch is addressable for easy microprocessor interfacing. It is used in applications such as automatic test equipment, process industrial controls, energy controls, programmable instrumentation, disk drive systems, multi channel microprocessor controlled systems.
