LT3009IDC-5#TRMPBF

LT3009IDC-5#TRMPBF is a LT®3009 series, micropower, low dropout voltage linear regulator. Capable of supplying 20mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 280mV, this device exhibits a no-load quiescent current of 3μA. The ground pin current remains below 5% of the output current as the load increases. During shutdown, the quiescent current drops to less than 1μA. This regulator is optimized for stability and transient response with low ESR ceramic capacitors, requiring a minimum of only 1μF. Unlike many other regulators, it does not necessitate the addition of equivalent series resistance. Internal protection circuitry includes current limiting, thermal limiting, reverse-battery protection, and reverse current protection. Ideal for applications requiring moderate output drive capability combined with ultralow standby power consumption. Applications include low current battery-powered systems, keep-alive power supplies, remote monitoring, utility meters, and hotel door locks.

• Current limit is 60mA typical at (VIN = 20V, VOUT = 0, TJ = 25°C)
• Ripple rejection is 56dB typical at (TJ = 25°C)
• 5V regulated voltage at (VIN = 5.5V, ILOAD = 100μA, TJ = 25°C)
• Operating junction temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, 6-lead plastic DFN package
