Product Overview
The MAX755ESA+ is an adjustable negative output current mode PWM regulator in 8 pin NSOIC package. The MAX755 operates from a 2.7V to 9V and generates an adjustable negative output, 1W output power when powered from a 4.5V input. Quiescent supply current is 1.8mA and a shutdown mode reduces this to 10µA. It employs a high performance current mode pulse width modulation control scheme to provide tight output voltage regulation and low subharmonic noise. The fixed frequency is factory trimmed to 160KHz allowing for easy noise filtering. Typical applications include board level DC to DC conversion, battery powered equipment and computer peripherals.
