Accelerate automotive motor control with NXP MCTPTX1AK324, featuring S32K324 MCU, GD3000 pre-driver, and multi-motor/valve support for e-mobility and thermal systems.

The NXP MCTPTX1AK324 is a high-performance motor control reference design board built for automotive multi-PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) control. Powered by the 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M7 S32K324 MCU and the GD3000 pre-driver, this platform enables efficient control of up to three sensorless PMSMs, one DC motor, and four valves - all with low CPU load.
Designed for applications such as electric pumps, eTurbo, thermal management, and powertrains, the kit delivers high efficiency, deterministic performance, and scalable control capabilities. Key features include:
Dual-core communication via IPCF
12 V operating voltage with adjustable overcurrent settings (8–10 A)
Support for S32 Design Studio IDE 3.5, S32K3xx Real-Time Drivers, and the Automotive Math and Motor Control Library (AMMCLib)
By providing a ready-to-use hardware and software platform, the MCTPTX1AK324 allows OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners to accelerate prototyping, reduce development effort, and shorten time-to-market for next generation automotive motor control systems.
