Product Overview
The LP2985AIM5-3.3/NOPB is a fixed output, micropower low noise ultra low dropout (LDO) regulator in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This regulator is designed for use with very low ESR output capacitors. Using an optimized VIP (Vertically Integrated PNP) process, the LP2985AIM5-3.3/NOPB delivers unequalled performance for all battery powered designs. This regulator provides 1% tolerance precision output voltage with only 75µA quiescent current at 1mA load and 850µA at 150mA load. By adding a 10nF bypass capacitor, the output noise can be reduced to 30µVrms in a 30KHz bandwidth. The LP2985AIM5-3.3 is designed to work with ceramic output capacitor with equivalent series resistance (ESR) as low as 5mohm.
