Product Overview
The SN65C3232EPWR is a two channel RS-232 1Mbps line Driver or Receiver with ±15kV IEC ESD protection pin to pin (serial-port connection pins, including GND). This device provides the electrical interface between an asynchronous communication controller and the serial-port connector. The charge pump and four small external capacitors allow operation from a single 3 to 5.5V supply. The devices operate at data signalling rates up to 1Mbps and a driver output slew rate of 14 to 150V/µs.
