Product Overview
AD5553 is a precision low power, current output and small form factor digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). This is designed to operate from a single 5V supply with a ±10V multiplying reference. The applied external reference, VREF, determines the full-scale output current. An internal feedback resistor (RFB) facilitates the R-2R and temperature tracking for voltage conversion when combined with an external operational amplifier. A serial data interface offers high-speed, 3-wire microcontroller compatible inputs using serial data in (SDI), clock (CLK), and chip select (active-low CS). Application includes automatic test equipment, instrumentation, digitally controlled calibration, industrial control programmable logic controllers.

- Maximum output leakage current is 10nA (Data=0x0000, TA=25°C, 5V ± 10%)

- Minimum VREF range is -15V (VDD=5V ± 10%, VSS=0V, IOUT=virtual GND)
