AD5662 is a member of the nano DAC family, it is a low power, single channel, 16bit buffered voltage-out DAC that operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and is guaranteed monotonic by design. The low power consumption of this part in normal operation makes it ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The power consumption is 0.75mW at 5V, going down to 2.4μW in power-down mode. It is widely used in application such as process control, data acquisition systems, portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage and current sources, programmable attenuators etc.

• Low power is 250μA at 5V
• Power-down to 480nA at 5V, 100nA at 3V
• 3 power-down functions, serial interface with Schmitt-triggered inputs
• SYNC interrupt facility, rail-to-rail operation

• Relative accuracy is ±8LSB typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
• Gain error is ±1.5% FSR maximum at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
• DC power supply rejection ratio is -100dB typical at (DAC code = midscale, VDD = 5V/3V ±10%)
• Packaging style is 8-lead MSOP, operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
