Product Overview
AD5663R is a buffered voltage out digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) that operate from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and it is guaranteed monotonic by design. The AD5663R has an on-chip reference. The on-chip reference is off at power-up, allowing the use of an external reference; and all devices can be operated from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The internal reference is turned on by writing to the DAC. The parts incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures the DAC output powers up to 0 V and remains there until a valid write takes place. The part contains a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 480nA at 5V and provides software-selectable output loads while in power down mode. Application includes process control, data acquisition systems, portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage and current sources, programmable attenuators.
- Maximum relative accuracy is ±16LSB INL (VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V), internal reference is 2.5V

- Typical offset error is ±1mV (VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Typical zero-scale error drift is ±2µV/°C (VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Output voltage range from 2.495V to 2.505V (at ambient, VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- 10 lead MSOP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C
