Product Overview
AD5691RBRMZ is a low power, single-channel, buffered voltage output DAC. The output span can be programmed to be 0V to VREF or 0V to 2 × VREF. The internal power-on reset circuit ensures that the DAC register is written to zero scale at power-up while the internal output buffer is configured in normal mode. It contains a power-down mode that reduces the current consumption of the device to 2µA (maximum) at 5V and provides software selectable output loads. Typical applications are process controls, data acquisition systems, digital gain and offset adjustment programmable voltage sources, optical modules.

- Low drift, voltage reference is 2ppm/°C typ at VDD = 2.7-5.5V, RL = 2kohm to GND, -40°C <lt/> TA <lt/> 105°C
- Selectable span output is 2.5V or 5V
- Short-circuit current is 50mA max at VDD = 2.7-5.5V, RL = 2kohm to GND, -40°C <lt/> TA <lt/> 105°C
- Output voltage noise is 16.5µVp-p typical at (0.1Hz to 10Hz, VDD = 2.7-5.5V)
- Output voltage settling time is 5µs typical at (gain = 1, VDD = 2.7-5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Slew rate is 0.7V/µs typical at (VDD = 2.7-5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Digital-to-analogue glitch impulse is 0.1nV-s typical at (±1LSB change around major carry, gain = 2)
- SNR is 90dB typical at (ambient temperature, bandwidth (BW) = 20KHz, VDD =5V, fOUT = 1KHz)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C, packaging style is 10-lead MSOP
