Product Overview
AD7819 is a high speed, microprocessor-compatible, 8-bit analogue to digital converter with a maximum throughput of 200KSPS. The converter operates off a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and contains a 4.5µs successive approximation A/D converter, track/hold circuitry, on-chip clock oscillator and 8bit wide parallel interface. The parallel interface is designed to allow easy interfacing to microprocessors and DSPs. Using only address decoding logic the AD7819 is easily mapped into the microprocessor address space.

- Automatic power-down: ideal for battery powered applications

- Signal to (noise + distortion) ratio is 48dB (min) at fIN = 30KHz, fSAMPLE = 136KHz
- Conversion time is 4.5µs max
- 57.75µW max auto power-down at 1KSPS throughput
- 16 lead TSSOP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 125°C
