ADP3336 is a member of the ADP333x family of precision low dropout anyCAP voltage regulator. This operates with an input voltage range of 2.6V to 12V and delivers a continuous load current up to 500mA. Its patented design requires only a 1.0µF output capacitor for stability. This device is insensitive to output capacitor Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR), and is stable with any good quality capacitor, including ceramic (MLCC) types for space-restricted applications. Application includes PCMCIA cards, cellular phones, camcorders, cameras, networking systems, DSL/cable modems, cable Set-Top Box, MP3/CD Players, DSP supply.

• Typical load regulation is 0.04mV/mA (IL = 0.1 mA to 500 mA, TJ = –40C to +125C)
• Typical dropout voltage is 200mV (IL = 500mA, TJ = –40C to +125C)
• Minimum threshold voltage is 2.0V (ON, TJ = –40C to +125C)
• Requires only CO = 1.0F for stability
• Low shutdown current is <lt/> 1.0µA
• 8-Lead MSOP package
• Temperature rating range from -40°C to +85°C
