Product Overview
MAX548A is a low power voltage output DAC. This allow each DAC to be shut down independently. The 10MHz, 3-wire serial interface is compatible with SPI™/QSPI™ and Microwire™ interface standards. Double-buffered inputs provide flexibility when updating the DACs; the input and DAC registers can be updated individually or simultaneously. This is a dual DAC with an asynchronous load input; it uses VDD as the reference input. Application includes battery powered systems, VCXO control, comparator-level settings, GaAs amp bias control, digital gain and offset control.
- Single supply operation range from +2.5V to +5.5V, ±1LSB TUE (max, TA = +25°C)
- Power on reset clears all registers to zero
- 150µA low operating current, 0.3µA shutdown mode (TA = +25°C)
- 10MHz, 3 wire serial interface compatible with SPI/QSPI and microwire
- Independent shutdown of DACs
- 8bit minimum resolution (VDD = +2.5V to +5.5V, TA = +25°C)
- Differential nonlinearity is ±0.9LSB (min, all others, TA = +25°C)
- 0.7VDD input high voltage (VDD = +2.5V to +5.5V, TA = +25°C)
- 330µA typical supply current (VDD = 5.5V, TA = +25°C)
- 8 µMAX package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
