Product Overview
MAX5491 is a precision-matched resistor-divider. It consists of two accurately matched resistors with access to the ends and centre of the divider. This device offers excellent resistance matching of 0.035% (A grade). To enhance device and system robustness, it also features ±2KV human body Model electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection to ensure against real-world ESD events. It is ideal for precision gain-setting applications where tight resistance matching and low temperature drift are necessary. Application includes industrial process control, instrumentation, precision gain setting, medical equipment, automatic test equipment, base stations.
- 2.5:1 resistor ratio, 0.035 maximum resistor ratio accuracy, 2.000 to 2.899 resistor ratio range
- ±2KV human body model ESD protection
- Upto 50V operating voltage across sum of R1 and R2
- Maximum initial resistor ratio error is ±0.035% (TA = +25°C)
- 35ppm/°C absolute temperature coefficient of resistance typical (TA = +25°C)
- 0.1ppm/V typical voltage coefficient of resistance (TA = +25°C)
- End-to-end resistance (R1 + R2) range from 28.5 to 31.5Kohm (TA = +25°C)
- Maximum continuous current is ±1.75mA (TA = +25°C)
- 87.5mW maximum power rating (TA = +25°C)
- 3 pin SOT23 package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
