Product Overview
AFBR-1629Z is a 50MBd inverted Versatile Link fibre-optic transmitter. It utilizes a 650nm LED source with integrated optics and a driver IC for efficient coupling into 1mm polymer optical fibre (POF). Versatile Link components can be interlocked (N-plexed together) to minimize space and to provide dual connections with the duplex connectors. Typical applications include industrial control and factory automation, extension of RS-232 and RS-485, high voltage isolation, elimination of ground loops, reduction in voltage transient susceptibility.
- Compatible with the Broadcom Versatile Link family of connectors, for easy termination of fibre
- Supply voltage range from 3.135 to 3.465V
- Supply current (optical power ON) is 21mA typ at TA = -40°C to +85°C, VCCT = 3.3V ±5% or 5V ±5%
- Data input capacitance is 7pF max at TA = -40°C to +85°C, VCCT = 3.3V ±5% or 5V ±5%
