Product Overview
The FX18 series from Hirose are surface mount straight board to board receptacles with 0.8mm pitch spacing for coplanar /vertical/ stacking connection. It has multi-functional (MF) contact such as ground contact to enhance grounding, power supply contacts up to 12A to reduce required pin counts and 3 step sequential contacts for grounding and detection. These connectors has large mating guide for easy insertion and mates with signal contact of 2mm.
- Insertion loss to cross talk ratio (ICR) meets IEEE 802.3ap specifications for 10+Gbps
- Pin through hole mounting multifunction contacts increase strength against wrenching
- Stacking heights is 15mm
- 60 contacts
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to 80°C
- Phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating
- Rated voltage of 100VAC and rated current of 0.5A (signal) and 3A (multi functional contact)
- Flammability rating meets UL94 V-0, black colour polyamide (PA) insulator
- Maximum contact resistance of 90mohm
- Mating cycles is 500
