Product Overview
The NCP7815TG is a 1A positive voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-220 package. This is 15V fixed output, positive linear voltage regulator suitable for a wide variety of applications. This regulator is extremely rugged, incorporating internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe-area compensation. With adequate heat sinking it can deliver output currents in excess of 1A. It is designed as direct replacements for popular MC7800 family, it offers enhanced ESD protection and enhanced ESD tolerance of HBM 4KV (5V and 8V Options), 3KV and MM 400V.

- No external components required
- Internal thermal overload protection
- Internal short circuit current limiting
- Output transistor safe-area compensation
- Output voltage offered in 4% tolerance
