Product Overview
Stopping a fire spreading is paramount in any building or workplace, but where doors are constantly left open for ease of access etc. then a possible route of spread exists. This magnetic door retainer offers a simple solution to automatically closing doors in an emergency, assuming the doors are fitted with door closers. The Magnetic Retainer is mounted to the wall whilst the Keep plate is mounted to the door or shutter so it is aligned with the retainer.
- Can be tested without switching off power by using Test button
- Electromagnet is continuously energised until supply failure or fire alarm activates it
- Compact and easy to install
- Complies with BS 5839 Part 3 1988
