Product Overview
M24256E-FDW6TP is a 256-Kbit I²C-compatible bus EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable read only memory) organized as 32K × 8bits. It can operate with a supply voltage from 1.65V to 5.5V, with a clock frequency of 1MHz (or less). It can also operate down to 1.6V, under some restricting conditions. The M24256E-F offers an additional page of 64 bytes, named identification page, which can be used to store sensitive application parameters which can be (later) permanently locked in read-only mode. The M24256E-F offers also an additional 8-bit register, named the configurable device address (CDA) register authorizing the user, through software, to configure upto eight possibilities of chip enable address.
